Who We Are:

Assisting Hands® Dana Point is a California State Licensed, non-medical home care agency that proudly serves the five lower cities of South Orange County. We provide compassionate, dependable care that enables seniors and others in need to remain safe and independent in the comfort of their own homes.

We’re seeking a Staffing Coordinator who shares our mission and values, a highly organized, people-focused professional who enjoys solving scheduling challenges, supporting caregivers, and helping ensure clients receive the right care at the right time.

What You'll Do

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard high-quality caregivers
  • Match caregivers with clients based on skills, experience, availability, and personality
  • Coordinate schedules and ensure client shifts remain covered
  • Respond to scheduling changes and staffing challenges
  • Support caregivers with communication, guidance, and problem resolution
  • Maintain caregiver compliance and personnel records
  • Communicate with clients, families, referral partners, and healthcare professionals
  • Help create positive experiences for both caregivers and clients

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in staffing, scheduling, recruiting, healthcare, home care, or customer service
  • Attention to detail and commitment to follow-through
